Hello bloggers!
This is what I did today for some school! I loved drawing it and designing my volcano. The sentences were quiet easy but fun! I like learning more about volcanoes!
Do you like volcanoes?
Blog you later!
Emma
Kia ora Emma, thank you for sharing your mahi (work) with us. I can see you have learnt a lot about volcanoes! Here's an interesting fact I found online at National Geographic Kids: The word “volcano” comes from the Roman name “Vulcan” - he was the Roman god of fire! I think I would be very scared if I was near a volcano and it started erupting.
Morena Emma, thank you for sharing your writing about volcanoes on your blog. I like the verb 'oozing' that you used to describe the lava coming out of the volcano. It is a great descriptive word for lava. I find volcanoes very interesting, and I love watching lava flow out, as I find it quite mesmerising. But, I think that I would really only like these things from afar. What is the most interesting fact you have learned about volcanoes so far?
