Hello everyone!
This is our last volcano slide! It was fun doing volcano slides. This volcano slide is about Hiku's. And then on the last slide we got to chose a volcano poem and I choes the Diamante poem.
Can you guess my volcano hiku?
Blog you later and stay safe!

Kia Ora Emma,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely surprise to hear you reading your Haiku poem about volcanoes! Then a bit further along, surprise - another poem, this time a diamante poem with wonderful adjectives! Excellent work Emma!
Kia ora Emma, thank you for sharing your writing with us. I enjoyed hearing you read your haiku - you spoke at a good pace and with a clear voice. Excellent words choices for your second poem and a great photo to match your words.
ReplyDeleteDo you enjoy writing poetry or prefer story writing?
Kia pai tō rā. (Have a good day.)
Kia ora Emma, thank you for sharing your poetry slide on your blog. I really like your diamante poem as it you have used some great descriptive language helping to paint an image in my mind. Well done also for using the correct number of syllables in each line of your haiku. Using the clues from the poem, I think that the eruption you have written about is a tuff cone eruption. Am I correct?
